Oak Alley Plantation

In March 2008 Рafter completing the first draft of my Townsend Brown biography, I took some time off and drove the length of the Natchez Trace, from Nashville to Natchez, Mississippi, and then continued down The Great River Road to New Orleans.  Oak Alley is one of the stately antebellum homes still standing along that River Road, so named for the parallel rows of 200+ year old oaks that line the walkway to the entrance.
I saw another photo of Oak Alley on Instagram and decided to post one of mine as well.
